Project Assistant I

The Project Assistant I is an entry-level position responsible for providing support to the primary Consultants on individual projects. A successful candidate will assist with the collection, organization, and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation data.


This is a part-time position. Hours per week estimated at 16-20 at a starting rate of $12.50 per hour. The candidate will start by job-shadowing a current Project Assistant during April and assume full project responsibilities by mid-May.



  • Data entry, organization, tracking and analysis
  • Survey deployment, tracking and analysis
  • Research/Literture reviews
  • General office duties



  • BA/BS or Current student
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Proficient with Word and Excel, including ability to generate graphs
  • Comfort with data management
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Efficient with task completion and learning new tasks

Ferner, Wilkinson, & Heath had the manuscript "Using Patterns to Teach Parallel Computing" accepted for the Fourth NSF/TCPP Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Computing Education (EduPar-14) which was be held May 19, 2014 in Phoenix.
