SCI-CDI
The objective of the Science Course Development Initiative (SCI-CDI) was to increase content knowledge for middle and high school teachers along with efforts to increase their enthusiasm and ability to provide meaningful learning experiences for their students. The courses created were geared towards two categories of graduate level students: 1.) current teachers who were furthering their education by obtaining a Master of Education (ME) degree and 2.) students with undergraduate science degrees or a significant background in science obtaining their Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree.
